![]() The previous two occasions the 76ers were in a second-round series that was tied 2-2, they were blown out in Game 5 - a 36-point loss to Toronto in 2019 and 35-point loss to Miami last season. “If you’re not willing to get dirty, if you’re not willing to pretty much bleed, if you’re not willing to break something … then you shouldn’t be on that court,” Celtics guard Marcus Smart said. If there’s any solace for Boston, it’s that the Celtics survived this exact scenario last year in this round, overcoming a 3-2 deficit to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks. “I think we just didn’t have it today,” Tatum said. The Celtics went 12-of-38 from the 3-point line. Jayson Tatum led Boston with 36 points but was just 11-of-27 from the field. “You just have breathe through it and our guys did that,” Rivers said. Rivers said it helped his team endured each of Boston’s attempts to get back into the game. James Harden finished with 17 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.Ĭoach Doc Rivers likened Harden’s play to that of a catcher in baseball calling the perfect game, putting his teammates in optimal position while also scoring big buckets in key moments. Tyrese Maxey added 30 points and six 3-pointers. He also had seven rebounds, four blocks and three 3-pointers. It was the third straight 30-point game in the series for the reigning MVP, who used his full array of offensive weapons to pick apart the Celtics defence. ![]() But we have to do it again,” Embiid said. What if Ravi was a big wrestling fan (but hid it from his mom) and that’s why he wanted to sneak away? Then he could give pointers to Devon from a distance? As it is it feels like the already misplaced conflict of the episode is forgotten about for ten minutes and then casually resolved at the end.“What we did tonight, it’s easier said than done. It’s odd more wasn’t done to tie-in the conflict of the episode with the Zord action. We don’t see Ravi desperate to save Devon because of his actions he acts like he normally does in fights. It also doesn’t matter much to the meat of the episode. It’s a shame because Ravi was arguably the most fleshed out of the whole team and this just doesn’t line-up with what we’ve already learned. Seeing Ravi so blatantly disregard orders feels like it was created solely to generate some conflict. He hid his art for years because of his mom telling him art was pointless. He broke up with his girlfriend because of the “Rangers don’t date Rangers” rule. I’d say this shows a new side to his character but from the very first episode it was establish Ravi followed the rules to a fault. He’s desperate to see weight lifting and shirks his duties to do so. This all comes down to Ravi acting wildly out of character. While it’s good times to watch the wrestling match it isn’t really rooted in an engaging plot. Unfortunately the plot of the actual episode doesn’t match up with the fun of the Zord battle. ![]() Power Rangers Beast Morphers Season 2 Episode 6 Review: The Blame Game By Shamus Kelley They aren’t as common these days but in older seasons they’d regularly have episodes that used as much Sentai footage as possible to save on budget. ![]() Watching Zords that are usually portrayed as slow and lumbering in a fast paced wrestling match? With all the extra commentary? That’s brilliant and cleverly disguises that this is a traditional Sentai footage burning episode. They keep changing it up, adding new opponents for Devon to fight and just taking it completely over the top. Having a Zord fight take up a whole episode is already rare but then making that Zord battle a wrestling match? That’s incredible! Traditionally these fights are cut and paste and rarely go longer than a few minutes. It’s a shame this is what people will focus on when the Zord fight was genuinely one of the most unique in the series history. It’s a good instance of the show using its own universe and making it feel like it’s all connected, even in small ways. It’s nice that Power Rangers Beast Morphers remembers they existed and gave us this little nod. ![]() Originally created in MMPR, the Games were basically the Olympics and were used to write Kimberly out of the show. Sadly not the unique Zord battle but the mere reference to the Pan Global Games. This POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS review contains spoilers.įirst off let’s talk about the biggest thing this episode will be remembered for. ![]()
